Material of the Week: Command Hooks
This week, we’re excited to show you some ordinary and some super extra-ordinary uses for one of the most versatile materials we’ve featured to date: Material of the Week: Command hooks.

Command hooks come in more than “just hooks”. These Command cord organizers can help you hide unsightly computer, TV or phone cables.
You can even use them on the back of your kitchen appliances to get those unwieldy cords off the counter and out of sight!
Using Command hooks is easy; first attach the strip to the back of the hook, pressing to secure. Then make sure the area you’re going to adhere the hook to is clean and dry. Remove the backing from the strip, and secure the hook. Allow the hooks to sit for 30 minutes before using them, and you’re ready to get organizing!

Pot & Lid Storage
To bring some order to your pots & lids, use Command hooks on the inside of your cabinet doors. Line up the lids before you adhere the Command hooks to be sure the cabinet door closes fully with lids attached. Then, attach two hooks per lid to create a custom holder for each lid.
Speaking of pots and pans, if you like to keep your pans scratch free, and within reach, you can also attach Command hooks to the inside of your cabinets for more organized cooking ware. Brilliant, right?
Here’s a great idea using Command hooks to get clutter off your kitchen counters. You’ll need a small curtain rod that fits into your Command hooks (shown here in a metallic finish). Attach 2 Command hooks at an equal distance on your backsplash, and use s-hooks to hang anything from mugs to hand towels!
Another great use for Command hooks; attach to the inside of your cabinets to organize cleaning supplies.
If you're looking for a quick and easy way to organize your gift wrapping supplies, a short curtain rod, 2 Command hooks, and some S-hooks make an easy to reach, behind the door wrapping station.
Don’t forget the decor element! You can use Command hooks to hang a vertical garden in any room of your home. To hang planters on Command hooks, poke a small hole in your plastic planters and hang on the hooks. Succulents, herbs or flowers, there are so many possibilities!
