Valentines Day Reverse Collage
While cleaning up my craft room, i came across some of my old Victorian magazines. I saved them because the photos are just so beautiful in these magazines and i thought, one of these days i will be able to use them for some type of craft project. This Valentines Day Project was just right.
Collage pictures you have cut out of magazines to the back of a clear glass plate using mod podge and a sponge brush
Time: 2 Hours Cost: $10 Difficulty: Easy
using a sponge brush, brush the mod podge onto the right side of the picture, and place it on the bottom side of the glass plate. I chose to overlap my pictures but you dont have to.
afcoter placing the pictures on the underside of the glass plate, I cut up a gold doily and filled in the blanks, sort of used as a background. Applying it the same as I did the pictures. Then I took a sheet of black tissue paper and applied it to the back of the plate
Materials used for this project:
- Mod podge (Michaels craft store)
- Clear glass plate (garage sale)
- Old magazines (saved over time)
- Black tissue paper (dollar store)
- Doily (dollar store)
